Very Simple Stencil Work

Stencils are a huge subject.

They can be every size from gigantic to miniscule, and are created in so many ways.

For my purposes, I just wanted a small, quick stencil, so I cut a spontaneous design out of card stock.

I printed out one of my collage papers, leaving a large white border.

I dabbed paint onto it twice, using the stencil. Then I added lines with dimensional paint, and stamped on it a bit.

This will become another journal page for the new handmade art book I am making. It’s not finished yet,  but I had fun with these techniques and will now refine them for further work.
