Love Cornered

I put together 2 pics I took today: one of shards of icicles in the snow, the other a plant . Winter plants are so stark, seem to stand so bravely against the snow.

A few layers later, this emerged. The heart heading into the corner spoke to me: don’t our hearts sometimes feel that way? Cornered? And yet, we always have the choice of who and what to love.
