Getting To Know Me
This came first:
I played around with it for a while, and different pieces emerged (including yesterday’s Icarus).
Then I decided to add a drawing layer on top, which I subsequently flipped and changed so that it didn’t look like a carbon copy.
Suddenly, the piece was about seeing myself, and maybe being a bit frightened because I wasn’t sure who, or which me, she was.
Who Are You?
It’s time to get to know myself even better.
One of the greatest moments in anybody’s developing experience is when she no longer tries to hide from herself but determines to get acquainted with herself as she really is. …………~ Norman Vincent Peale
