A long and winding path

I love shadows, and am constantly taking pictures of them.

Our dining room light fixture was casting a lovely, intricate shadow that I snapped in the near dark, causing a grainy effect that  robbed it of some of its detail.

I created this line drawing from the photo of the light fixture, which I can use as  a collage element, or to make a stamp out of.

Don’t ask me how I wound up here. It was a long and winding path, and I was only half conscious (in the zone).
