Creative Interests

I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It’s easy. Just click “Edit Text” or double click me and you can start adding your own content and make changes to the font. Feel free to drag and drop me anywhere you like on your page. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you.

I have been helplessly in love with creating since I put my chubby hand to paper with a wax crayon.

I graduated to pencil crayons, and the wondrous possibilities of paper and glue. I could now form, and decorate, anything I wanted! Papier Mache was a natural progression. Dolls held little interest: but creating a house for a Barbie doll was worthy use of my skills. And I was recycling everything I could find to reshape and repurpose.

This also led me to stitching. The clothes I was given for the Barbie doll did NOT suit my style.

As a young mother and wife, I fell headlong into Creativity (when I could carve out the time, and I always did). I added or embellished so many skills to my mix: crochet, art-to-wear, dying, beading, stained glass, embroidery, felting, handmade jewellery, collage, quilting, painting, blah blah blah. I had, and still possess, an insatiable curiosity.

It may not have given me nine lives, but it has made my one precious life at least nine times better.
