I sm stitching TWO EGGS (from A long and winding path). Usually, I stitch “what is there.” Later, I paint where I please, but the bones remain. Partway through my stitching, I decided to diverge and ignore the lines, at least to an extent. We’ ll see if I am pleased with the result when I get to the painting part. I love shadows, and am constantly taking pictures of them. I have been wanting to try gelatin plate printing for a quite some time. However, one has to question how much one wants something that one never gets around to doing. It reminds me of the letter written by a little girl to her aunt, thanking her for the birthday present of some beautiful hankies.
