Open Book Is Not Its Real Name

This work is part of my continuing love affair with cardboard. Open Book 1 Open Book 2 Can You See the Fish? That last title is a bit of a red herring, as I didn’t really see one myself. Then I received a comment about the image showing a man’s back, sitting at the edge of a pond, and was quite delighted to realize that if I didn’t see one, it was quite likely that he did (along with Sandra). Art is nothing if not entertaining and full of surprises. #CWWOL20110524c #book #can

Unlikely Origin Tickles My Aesthetic Sense

My cardboard photo afforded wonderful opportunities to create new designs. Those stains, the corrugations in the cardboard, and bits of grass on either side, formed design combinations that my aesthetic sense interpreted as lovely. Here are four of them: Stained Cardboard Design 1 Stained Cardboard Design 2 Stained Cardboard Design 3 Stained Cardboard Design 4 #CWWOL20110503b #grass #corrugations #CWWOL20110503a #CWWOL20110503d #cardboard #aestheticsense #stains #CWWOL2011050
